Jan 2021
PSEM 2021: our inaugural conference
Three days and twelve sessions, held entirely online on ENLIGHTENme. Topics included leadership, system design, quality, education and research. Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Health was among the speakers.
Feb 2022
PSEM Leadership Academy Conference
Trainees told us what they wanted from a virtual leadership academy. Speakers came from Pakistan, the UAE and the UK. It was the starting point for today’s Virtual Leadership Academy.
Jan 2023
SACEM inaugural virtual conference
Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka took part, with the presidents of IFEM, RCEM and the Asian Society for EM. The South Asian Collaborative for Emergency Care was established.
Oct 2023
First four cHALO centres open in Pakistan
Now 17 centres across six countries.
Nov 2024
3rd International EM Conference, Lahore
Held under the cHALO banner at King Edward Medical University. The conference had more than 20 international delegates from six countries, and four workshops with about 200 participants and 40 faculty.
Oct 2026
cHALO reaches Malaysia
Phase I partnership with MASCOT, the Malaysian Society for Care of Trauma, on leadership and trauma team training.
